Lovegrove will extend her presence in southwest Florida to Sanibel on Saturday, Oct. 9 as she opens the new international headquarters of Lovegrove Gallery & Gardens at 1101 Periwinkle Way. The site is located across from the Dairy Queen and easy to access. As a further enticement, Lovegrove will pay the Sanibel Bridge toll for anyone who makes a purchase of $100 or more.The grand opening date coincides with worldwide celebrations of the life of John Lennon who would have turned 70 years old on that day. Lovegrove is well known for her paintings of the Beatles.“The new location has lots of space and allows me to display many larger than life works that have not been seen before,” Lovegrove said.The opening runs from 6:00 pm to 9:00 p.m. and is open to the public.
